Waiting on Snow

The one thing I hate most about winter is the cold. I think that if it is going to be cold it should be snowing, but so far we have only had one snow storm. Here it is November 25th and there is no snow in the future forecast. The Weather Channel does predict some snow on the 9th of December, but not enough for a white Christmas. What?!?! I live in Utah, know for the greatest snow on Earth, um where is my snow. LOL Okay on to my mani.

Due to the lack of snow I decided to create my own with this mani. This is my first attempt at doing stamping that didn't use a full nail stamp. I am semi pleased with it. I originally had three plates picked out for this one, but no matter what I did I couldn't get my Bundle Monster plate to work. I used two coats of China Glaze Frostbite and Finger Paints Paper Mache for the stamping. For the snowflakes I used RA-119 and Konad m59.

It is not the cleanest stamping ever, but I like it anyway. Hope you you like it :)

  1. Hi Crystal. I'm Melissa, you're newest follower, and I must say I am loving your blog. Your layout, background, and manicure's are fabulous. I just have to remind you that it is still technically fall. ;-) I feel ya though. I live in Central Oregon, we used to get dumped on and last winter we got snow for like 3 days. We have had a little snow so far, but it was just a dusting and lasted about 5 hours. Hopefully the snow God's see our snow mani's and dump on us!

    1. Thanks Melissa :) I know it is technically still fall until the 21st of December, but I am anxious for snow...LOL We had a dry winter last year and I am hoping this year is not a repeat. It ruins all the water fun in the summer :( Oh and thank you for following my blog!!
